The Celect system allows your organization to assign “member roles” to your members, which reflect the varying levels of responsibility that people have in an organization.  Each role is assigned different levels of permission to edit site content.  Again, these permissions levels reflect member roles within the actual organization.  For instance, a Vice President should have more authority to update content, because he or she may be privy to information that others are not.  A general member may have less permissions to change information on the website, because they do not carry as much responsibility in your organization’s administration at this point in time. By making use of our permissions levels, web-managing responsibilities are gradually increased as you progress throughout the vertical structure of your group.

Most importantly, these varied permissions levels allow everyone to have a certain level of administration, therefore eliminating the need for one, full-time, specialized web administrator.  Delegating administrative duties amongst executive members, and allowing junior members to manage web content pertaining to their responsibilities, leads to increased member involvement, communication and coordination.

To assign members to a certain permission level is a one-click process.  Once establishing a member’s access to the Celect system, there are straightforward options to help assign the right role to each member.
